Starting October 2019, Apple is releasing MacOS Catalina 10.15. After updating your Mac to Catalina, there is a mandatory Citrix update that must be installed, as well as updating the location of the login gateway. Download the latest version of Citrix Workspace (Citrix website) 2. It works on the lock screen, but not once I am logged in. When opening Citrix Workspace app for Mac and Citrix Viewer for the first time on macOS Catalina, the OS prompts users to allow notifications from Citrix Viewer. Install the Citrix Receiver Workspace by following these steps: Input your computer user name/password here to approve installation. Do NOT click Add Account, just click continue to finish installation. When trying to connect user receives 'The remote SSL peer sent a handshake failure alert'.

There had been an update in Citrix Workspace app (1910.2 for Mac) but since I'm

unfamiliar with this software, I can only point to where it was found that has a
